Fixture time change for Gloucester
THE Aviva Premiership fixture against London Wasps on Saturday, November 2, will now kick - off at 5pm, and not the previously advertised time of 4.30pm.
The fixture had originally been scheduled to kick off at 4.30pm, so as not to clash with the England vs Australia fixture taking place at Twickenham that day.
However, the club has now taken the decision to push the kick off time back a further 30 minutes, due to the amount of pre match activities scheduled that day as part of our Forces Day activities.
Commercial manager Mike Turner explained: "The London Wasps game will be our Forces Day where we will be raising money for the Royal British Legion and we've lined up some great entertainment.
"This includes, weather permitting, the Red Devils parachuting in with the match ball, and some musical numbers from the Military Wives Choir and the Nailsworth Silver Band.
"For the younger audience, we will have face painting and players signing autographs and posing for pictures in the Community Zone.
"With so much going on for such a good cause it would be a real shame if people missed it due to the England game, so we have delayed the kick off slightly to allow everybody to watch the game and not miss any of the planned activities.
"Naturally we will be showing the game in our bars and around the stadium, and also having a having a Happy Hour between 2pm and 4:15pm.
"We're grateful to London Wasps and Premiership Rugby for agreeing to the change, and hope that everyone at the game enjoys what we've organised.”
