Sharpness 1 Brockworth 2
TEN-MAN Sharpness conceded two late goals to slump to a disappointing home defeat against Brockworth.
Playing against the wind, the home side did very well to hold the score to 0-0 when half-time arrived, and they had Ryan Neale to thank for a fantastic save.
Early in the second half the game took a major change when two players came together in the middle of the field and, incredibly, Tommy Franham was sent off for the Sharks.
However, Sharpness took the lead when Marley Thomas made a good run and Ian Watkins forced the ball home.
They could not hold on, though, as the visitors scored twice in the last five minutes to take the victory, the second of which came from a quickly taken free kick that caught the Sharks off guard.
Sharpness have no game this weekend, with their next fixture away to Minsterworth on Saturday, December 28.
