Wotton Rovers U10s 8 Rodborough U10s 0

WOTTON flew out of the blocks on Saturday morning and blew their opposition away with a breathtaking display of passing football.

A blistering shot from Jamie Stacey was parried by the keeper and captain Alex Bishop was on hand to side-foot home.

A pinpoint cross from the effervescent Ethan Smith was met by Stacey in the box and his bullet header made it 2-0.

Stacey's low hard ball in to the area was turned in to his own net by a hapless Rodborough defender to make it 3-0 with only five minutes on the clock.

Jack Powell finished smartly shortly before half-time to score Rovers' fourth.

He was on hand to score another three in the second half, capping a fantastic personal achievement, while Smith, who was simply unstoppable down the right flank all game long, was rewarded when his long range effort made it a great eight for Wotton.
