Bristol Telephones 3 Frampton United 2

FRAMPTON United were made to pay for several missed chances as they lost at Bristol Telephones.

The home side stunned the visitors in the first four minutes with two well taken goals.

After three minutes full back Lee Francis misjudged the bounce on the ball just outside the box and Martin Blacker pounced to fire a powerful shot past keeper Scott Gearon.

A minute later Telephones went two up from a cross into the box from the right, which Chris Misir hammered home.

The home side almost made it three on 14 minutes but for keeper Gearon diving full stretch to push Luke Palmer's goal-bound effort around the post.

Frampton eased their way back into the game and Chris Fower pulled a goal back on 30 minutes, turning in a cross from the right.

A minute later Fower could have levelled, but his effort went just over the bar.

Frampton were getting on top and levelled the score on 33 minutes. The ball was cleared off the line from the first shot but it was gifted to Kris Bulley to drive the ball home.

United could have gone in front in the 34th minute, but Fower's shot across the goal went just wide of the post.

In the 48th minute Bulley sent over a great cross right on the head of Frazer Wilson, who headed the ball over the bar from six yards.

Chris Fower also missed a glorious chance when he headed over from a corner.

Ryan Hughes picked the ball up just inside Telephones half and scrambled past two defenders but put his effort over the bar.

Telephones stole the three points on 84 minutes with their only real chance of the second half.

A low corner was hit into the box from the right and defender Jack Fillingham’s shot found the back of the visitors' net.
