Gala Wilton 2 Kingswood 2

GALA Wilton dropped valuable points at home to Kingswood when they were held to a draw.

There were numerous chances throughout the game, most of which fell to the home side.

Ryan Hughes and Alex Prichard missed early chances, but Gala took the lead on 27 minutes from a free kick that was pumped upfield to Brett James, who sent the ball across goal for Hughes to score.

Kingswood levelled the score on 60 minutes from a Sam Hitchings cross squared into the box for Jim Crossfield to drive the ball into the net.

The visitors took the lead on 79 minutes from the penalty spot after Adam Hemming had pulled back Jim Crossfield in the box and Simon Clark made no mistake from the spot.

Kingswood manager Ian Evans, who was deputising in goal, brought off a great save to deny Myron Turner in the 85th minute but was unable to stop Ryan Hughes getting the equaliser just a minute later.

Patchway Town 1 Berkeley Town 0

PATCHWAY Town took the three points from their home game with Berkeley Town with the only goal of the game scored by Matt Davies after being put clear by Matt Tovey on 15 minutes.

Davies missed a golden opportunity to net a second on 50 minutes and in a game of few chances Berkeley Town failed to get one clear shot on goal.
