BERKELEY-based cyclist Pfeiffer Georgi, 13, was delighted to win her first road race of the season, held in unusually sunny conditions last weekend at Castle Combe.
Riding for Giant CC Halo Films, the Year 8 Castle School student, out-sprinted her rivals into the strong headwind to take the win.
Brother Etienne Georgi, 15, also produced a win for Giant CC Halo Films.
Racing in the under-16 boys’ category, Etienne attacked with a lap to go and out-sprinted his breakaway companions to victory.
