Wotton Rovers U10s 4 Rockleaze Rangers U10s 1

WOTTON continued their fine current form with a first half performance that blew away Rockleaze.

Captain and man of the match Jamie Stacey fired Wotton ahead after five minutes with a powerful finish from the edge of the box.

Jack Powell followed suit shortly afterwards with a wonderful curling effort that found the bottom right hand corner and he was on hand minutes later to finish smartly from a pin-point cross from Ethan Smith.

Powell returned the compliment towards the end of the half, his through ball allowing Smith to finish clinically.

A re-energised Rockleaze came out in the second half but they were only able to pull one back as Mackenzie Hannigan, Joel Langdon and Jamie Kershaw withstood wave after wave of attack.

The boys were back in action on Sunday, but this time washing windscreens to raise funds for the team at Bear Street Garage, Wotton.
