JUNE is proving to be another busy month for Berkeley-based club Giant CC Halo Films.

The younger members continued in their campaign, with Pfeiffer Georgi, 13, sprinting to third place in the National Series road race at Milton Keynes.

Along with brother Etienne Georgi, 15, they both competed in the last qualifying event at the South Region Youth Omnium at Bournemouth’s outdoor track.

Pfeiffer dominated all the events in the under-14 girls category to take a clear win, with Etienne gaining third place overall in the under-16 boys’ category, with a spectacular win in the points race. Both should now qualify for the National Omnium Final in Welwyn next month.

They both rode in the last selection event for this year’s School Games and Inter-Regional competition. Pfeiffer came third in the combined under-16/14 girls’ category, Etienne taking second in the under-16 boys.

Both now are hopeful of being selected to represent the South region at the School Games and Inter-regionals in September this year.
