THE July medal was played on a fine day and with the course in superb condition scoring was excellent.

Matt Jagucki won Division One with a very good nett 66, followed by Dave Clutterbuck with a nett 69.

Results – Division One: 1 M Jagucki 71-5=66; 2 D Clutterbuck 78-9=69; 3 C Sankey 80-10=70.

Division Two: 1 S Hacker 84-17=67; 2 K Hanson 82-15=67; 3 R Smith 81-13=68.

Division Three: 1 K Traynor 83-21=62; 2 M Harvey 88-19=69; 3 R Oakley 95-26=69.

Qualifiers from the Medal played in the Club Championship on the following day.

The weather was fine and there was a good entry.

Rob Davies showed a touch of class when his two scores (71+78=149), won him the Championship, but he had to fight hard for it, with Matt Jagucki chasing him all the way until the 18th when he made some mistakes to lose it.

The Ladies champion was Mel Lee with a 168 gross, with Casey Chappell winning the nett with a total of 144.

Dave Holliday enjoyed his Senior Captain’s Shotgun Competition with the sun shinning and a fairly good entry.

Pete Teasdale came top of the shop when he scored 37 points, with Pete Reynolds second on the same score in Division One.

The Cotswold Edge Seniors played for the Hoyle Trophy, a Bow Maler format.

Some nine teams of three played on a fine morning, and scoring was good.

The team of James Barnes, Phil Lewis and Brian Hall scored 76 points to win, with Cliff Coles, John Finch and Mike Ward second with 74 points.
