Gloucestershire County League
Thornbury Town 0 Kingswood 2
THORNBURY Town’s performance last Saturday at Chipping Sodbury was something special but they failed to repeat that performance on Monday and went down at home to Kingswood.
The visitors adapted to the conditions much better than the home side and took the lead on 30 minutes from a cross to the far post that was headed back across goal for Gary Simmoms to hook the ball into the net.
Two minutes into the second half Gavin Dibden, who had been outstanding all game, made it 2-0 and although the home side did rally they were unable to find the back of the net.
