CAM can wrap up the Gloucestershire County Cricket League Division Two title on Saturday if they win their final game of the season at local rivals Stone.

They thrashed fellow title-chasers Frocester thirds by eight wickets last weekend to leapfrog them and Woodpeckers to go top of the table.

Alex Ballard and Ben Holloway ripped through the Frocester middle order and tail, taking 3-8 and 3-3 respectively as the visitors were skittled for 88.

Stuart Newman hit an unbeaten 43 with captain Pete Hall finishing on 25 not out as Cam reached their target in 21.3 overs.

Cam are one of four teams fighting for two promotion spots with third-placed Westbury-on-Severn also in the mix.

The seconds, on the other hand, must win their last game at home to Gladiators on Saturday to avoid the threat of relegation to the feeder Stroud League.

They dropped back into the bottom two of Division Five after losing by just one run at Charlton Kings and Gladiators moved level on points with Cam after a six-wicket win over already-relegated Wickwar, going above them by virtue of having claimed more wins.
