Gloucestershire County League
Kings Stanley 2 Frampton United 2
KINGS Stanley were held to a draw by their closest rivals Frampton United on Saturday.
It was the visitors who went ahead on 16 minutes from a ball into the box that was volleyed home by Ryan Vincent.
Liam Gale then had a good shot blocked on the line by the Frampton defence on 20 minutes.
A minute later Stanley were level when Gale controlled the ball well before firing into the bottom corner.
Frampton should have taken the lead just before the break but Nathan Dennis’ header went just over the bar.
A Jake Davis neat flick with the outside of the foot put Stanley in front on 55 minutes, but the visitors went away with a point after a goal from the penalty spot scored by Matt Cook on 65 minutes.
