GFA Challenge Trophy Round Two
Bristol Telephones 4 Berkeley Town 1
BERKELEY Town were knocked out of the county cup by Bristol Telephones.
After their free scoring the previous week when they hit 13 against Yate Town Reserves, it took the hosts 22 minutes to find the back of Berkeley's net.
A long punt up field by Dhani Golding found Aaron McQuaid to fire home from 20 yards.
The second on 50 minutes came from a Berkeley goal kick that was headed forward by Kyren Hunt for Golding to run clear and fire home.
Jack Fillingham, who hit the target six times a week earlier, then made it 3-0 in the 70th minute.
The home side then got a fourth on 85 minutes with a headed goal from Mike Grist and two minutes later Berkeley scored a consolation goal a header from Joe Blakeney.
