Northern Senior League Division Two
Lydbrook 0 Sharpness 5
SHARPNESS comfortably swept aside bottom club Lydbrook and should have scored a lot more than five goals.
Tom Freeman started things off by firing a first minute penalty well wide.
By half-time the Sharks were three goals up with Harry Aldridge bagging a brace and Matt Gardner scoring the other but several other chances had been missed.
The second half was very much the same but Gardner scored the goal of the game, firing home a volley from 30 yards, and Tom Frankham notched number five just before the end.
Sharpness will have to be much more clinical when they face Ruardean Hill on Saturday at Hamfields, 3pm.
