Stroud League Division Three
Ramblers Reserves 1 Uley 13 (thirteen)
ULEY produced another good team performance to overcome Ramblers on a blustery day in Gloucester.
Although the home team are struggling at the bottom of the division, Uley were expecting a tougher challenge than they were presented with.
However, the management team of Dave Trinder and Dave Hill have instilled the players with confidence and they took advantage of a weakened team to score double figures.
The visitors took 15 minutes to register the first goal, but once that was netted, goals came at regular intervals.
Adam Philp and Rich Kemp scored three goals each with Mathew Mierzwa scoring twice.
Lee Stopford, Nigel Hart, Shaq Fraser, Pete Jagger and Steve King scored a goal each to take the final Uley tally to 13.
Ramblers deserved a consolation goal for never giving up despite the scoreline.
