GFA Intermediate Cup
Uley 9, United Longhope 2
ULEY continued their free-scoring form with another comprehensive win against North Gloucester League Division One side United Longhope.
They overwhelmed the visitors from the start and could have been five goals to the good by the time Adam Philp netted the first after eight minutes.
Thereafter, goals came at regular intervals with the home team's in-form strikers Philp and Rich Kemp scoring hat-tricks.
Scott Hayward added another goal for Uley with United Longhope scoring a goal to take the score to 7-1 at the break.
The second half became a non-event in comparison with both sides realising the outcome was already decided.
However, Uley commanded the game with substitute Liam Kitchen scoring two second half goals, the second of which was the goal of the game.
