Dursley Town 1 Avonvale United 4
INCONSISTENT Dursley crashed to a second successive 4-1 home defeat in the league on Saturday afternoon.
Chris Dolbear’s side made a shocking start, falling three goals behind as Avonvale frontman Tommy Blackah scored a hat-trick inside the opening 20 minutes.
Town just could not get going and they conceded another by half time with Blackah again the scorer as the visitors took a four-goal advantage at the turnaround.
Substitute Kyle Ward burst through to pull a goal back with 15 minutes remaining and Bruno Goncalves had two further chances, but the result was never really in doubt as Avonvale finished off the victors.

Reg Davis Memorial Cup quarter final
Dursley Town 6 English Bicknor 0

IT MAY only be the middle of August but Dursley Town are within reach of a cup final already.
Jay Redbond and Curtis Mills both scored twice as Dursley progressed to the semi finals of the league cup with victory over English Bicknor last week.
Veteran frontman Martin Booth put Town on their way before strike partner Maz Meta doubled the advantage and Redbond then made it three by half time to put Dursley firmly in the driving seat.
Following the turnaround, Redbond added another to his tally and Mills fired his brace as the Northern Senior Two visitors were comfortably beaten.
Dursley will host Stonehouse in the last four on Saturday, September 12, while Newent play Sharpness in the other semi final with a place in the big shoot-out on the line for the winners and a chance to take cup glory back to their club.
