GLOUCESTERSHIRE will be one match away from a visit to Lord’s on Sunday week when they take on Yorkshire at Headingley in the Royal London Cup semi-final.
Gloucestershire secured their place in the last four with a thrilling victory over Hampshire on Wednesday, while Yorkshire won on Thursday.
Liam Plunkett was Yorkshire's hero as they beat Essex by 20 runs in their quarter-final tie at Chelmsford.
Plunkett first cut loose with the bat as a quickfire 49 from 32 balls, including three fours and three sixes, lifted Yorkshire to what proved to be a defendable 252 for nine.
The match begins at 10.30am on Sunday September 6 and Gloucestershire can expect a big support travelling north for their first semi-final in a one-day competition in 11 years.
