Stroud and District League
FRAMPTON B suffered a whitewash at the hands of Thornbury A in the Stroud and District League, Division One last week, going down 10-0, while Yate moved into second place after a 5-5 draw at Frampton A.
And there were some interesting results for the three teams from Cam last week. Cam A got back into winning ways in the Third Division as maximums from Harry Prescott and Brian McNeill gave them victory over Randwick B by a thumping 9-1 margin.
And in Division Four, Paul Stewart scored a maximum for Cam B when they visited Phoenix G. Cam B came out on top, winning 7-3 with Stewart’s efforts ensuring his side stay top of the table.
And there was another great individual performance from Tom Gill, who maintained his 100 per cent record in the league so far this season, when he scored a maximum as his Randwick E held Cam C to a 5-5 draw.
