WOTTON travelled to the inform, league leaders Westbury Park Foxes.
With the wind behind them, the strong midfield of Anna Symanowski, Paige Todd, Evie Smith and Courtney Lusmore created a number of early chances.
Wotton were finally rewarded just before half time when Courtney’s corner found Ellie White who fired home. In the second half, against the wind, Wotton’s defence of Amy McCorkell, Hannah Dix and Kirstie Weston, with Emma Foxwell in goal stood firm, limiting the home sides shots as Westbury Park pressed for an equaliser.
Wotton caught the Foxes on the break with great play by Amber Weston and Ella Aston who forced another corner, from which Ellie headed home her second.
With the Foxes pushing to get back into the game, Wotton exploited space in their defence and a well placed pass from Anna put Courtney through, holding off the last defender before slotting in to seal this all important win.
