MARK COOPER has landed Portsmouth striker Matt Tubbs after leaving the League Two outfit by mutual consent.
Tubbs,31, had previously turned down an approach by Rovers, but has now agreed a one-year - and the former League Two and Football Conference golden boot winner is set to play 45 minutes in tonight's pre-season game against Cardiff City at The New Lawn.

The 31-year-old followed up his top scoring 21 goals in League Two in 2014-15 with a decent start last term – scoring six goals in 16 games for Portsmouth including just nine starts – before injury interrupted his season.
He spent the final part of the season at National League Eastleigh.
Tubbs, a former Bournemouth striker, played with current Forest Green Academy boss Scott Bartlett at Salisbury City.
He was twice Conference golden boot winner before stepping up into League football is the final piece of the attacking jigsaw after Christian Doidge, 23, and Rhys Murphy, 25 were signed to compliment Kieffer Moore, 23.
