Cheltenham Civil Service 3 Frampton United 2

FRAMPTON United were involved in a five-goal thriller against 2014/15 Gloucestershire County League champions Cheltenham Civil Service.

It involved a tremendous fight-back by Frampton after Cheltenham went into a 3-0 lead after 31 minutes.

The first on 10 minutes came from an acrobatic effort from Tim Burrows and five minutes later Sam Mason raced down the right cut in and sent a low cross into the far corner.

On 31 minutes Mason again broke down the flank pulled the ball back across the box and Mike Rhodes finished it off. Frampton hit back in the second half and Frazer Wilsons terrific shot into the top corner on 60 minutes gave the visitors some hope.

The home side had a goal disallowed for offside and frustration saw two booking just after.

On 77 minutes Myron Turner scored on the far post to make it Frampton nearly equalised but a Tim Griffiths save on 82 minutes kept the home side in front.
