Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division Two
FC Lakeside 3 Dursley Town 3
DURSLEY player-manager Phil Miles was left frustrated after his side lost a two-goal lead at high-flying FC Lakeside following the dismissal of striker Liam Wood.
Town were in command at 3-1 up in the last quarter of the game, but they conceded twice in the final 15 minutes following the departure of the front man.
Jake Hawkins had scored the first Dursley goal from a corner and Wood slotted their second before Jamie Shimman volleyed the third, but it was not to be for the visitors.
“We were in total control until the sending off,” said Miles, who will expect his side to bounce back at bottom-of-the-table Abbeymead in their next fixture on Saturday.
