KENNY Smith of Dursley has finished second in his class in the UK Autograss Championships (UKAC) Kenny competed in the Men’s class 8 section of the series, in his Hayabusa-powered Autograss special.

The series consisted of five rounds taking place on different tracks across the country.

Each round had three heats with the top eight cars qualifying for the final.

Kenny (23) had two heat wins at Nottingham, one heat win at Cwmdu, missing out on the final at Wessex, however he returned to form at the penultimate round at Star Autograss with two heat wins.

Kenny entered the final round at Lincoln in fourth position, he then went on to have two heat wins securing his place in the final, this led to him coming second overall in the UK Autograss Series Championships (UKAC).

Kenny has been racing since he was twelve years old with strong support from his father Mark Smith who competed with Kenny securing fifth place in the UKAC.
