BRISTOL City have completed the another signing, this time of Bosnian international Milan Djuric for an undisclosed fee.

It comes just hours after they confirmed the signing of Jens Hegeler from Hertha Berlin.

Djuric, a 6ft 6ins striker, arrives from Italian club Cesena, penning a two-and-a-half-year contract, with a further year option.

Head coach Lee Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: “Milan is someone we’ve been monitoring for the past nine months and has always been in our thoughts.

“His attributes are clear for all to see; he can play up front on his own or alongside another striker and will give a platform to play off. He attacks the ball well and will add to our attacking options.

“The fact he is a current Bosnian international shows the calibre of player we’re getting, for whom he has scored one in every two games he’s played."

Djuric has played his football exclusively in Italy to this point, with the majority of his career at Cesena – where he played alongside Hordur Magnusson. He has also enjoyed stints at Ascoli, Crotone, Cremonese, Trapani and Cittadella.

Internationally, Djuric has scored seven times in 14 appearances for Bosnia.

The 26-year-old striker produced a man of the match display against Wales in Euro 2016 qualifying, scoring his first international goal and also providing an assist in a 2-0 win over Chris Coleman’s team.

In June he helped Bosnia win the Kirin Cup, scoring a brace against Denmark in a 2-2 draw and then both goals against hosts Japan in the final.
