Vixens Circle Wotton-under-Edge Vixens 7 Lansdown Vixens 4
WOTTON-under-Edge Vixens took to the pitch confidently, stealing the ball to open the scoring in the first thirty seconds.
Lansdown were not impressed with this and fought back hard, but were unable to find the back board before conceding a further two goals.
The half-time score was 3-1.
Unfortunately, Lansdown lost a player due to illness, so Wotton players stepped in to help them in the second half.
In a match where the Vixens demonstrated how far they have developed, and worked brilliantly as a team, the second half saw them both concede and score four goals.
Wotton’s goal scorers were Millie Mayer (4), Susie York, Abby Philips and Hannah Cox.
