FOREST GREEN were left with Easter Monday egg on their faces after losing at already relegated and bottom of the table Southport.
Having secured a play-off place on Good Friday, Mark Cooper’s side were never at the races as goals after the break from Robbie Cundy and Rory McKeown ended Rovers’ three-game winning streak.
Earlier, boss Cooper made two changes to the team that beat Chester FC on Good Friday. Sam Wedgbury replaced Drissa Traore in midfield. A slight knock saw Omar Bugiel drop to the bench with fit again captain Liam Noble returning.
Elsewhere, Keanu Marsh-Brown returned to the squad and was handed a place on the bench.
