Forest Green Rovers, the world’s first vegan football club, has today announced that season ticket prices for their historic debut in the English Football League will be held at last season’s National League prices, as a thank you to its loyal fans.
An FGR season ticket gives fans admission to 23 home games, alongside FGR Club Membership (worth £20) that offers a range of discounts and benefits. Existing season ticket holders also have until 14th June to rebook their seat from last season.
Following unprecedented interest in season tickets, and a successful trial in the play-offs, the North Stand will be available to home fans throughout the entire season – both for season and matchday tickets. The move promises a spirited welcome to the many away teams visiting the New Lawn for the first time.
The club has also seen a phenomenal rise in global support, after its promotion to League Two via the Wembley play off final, a ‘fairy tale' story which reached over 50 countries worldwide and a global audience of nearly 300 million people.
Football fans around the world have quickly got behind the club’s drive for sustainability – described by FIFA, the football governing body as “the world’s greenest club” – and its Vegan Society approved menu. Orders for Forest Green Rovers kit have also spiked internationally, with the Club Shop shipping a record number of orders overseas.
Prices for other tickets remain below League Two average, as the club commits to attracting as many football fans to Nailsworth as possible in the new season.
Prices for Early Bird matchday tickets (those booked in advance of any game) are also confirmed: East Stand Premium and Standard will increase £2 on last season for adults and £1 for young adults and juniors; Early Bird North and South stand prices will increase by £1 for adults, seniors, young adults and juniors; Under 11s remain FREE in all home standards, while East Stand Premium seats cost just £3.
