GLOUCESTERSHIRE captain Michael Klinger admitted his side did themselves no favours in the field as they drew their T20 Blast clash with Sussex at the Cheltenham Festival on Sunday.
Rain wrecked the chances of a positive outcome one way or the other as Sussex made 156-8 in their innings but Gloucestershire were unable to get to the crease.
After the umpires decided to end the match, Klinger said: "We were a bit sluggish in the field today and allowed Sussex to post a par score.
"We dropped Ross Taylor early on and made life a bit difficult for ourselves. I thought we bowled pretty well for the most part, but you cannot afford to take your eye off the ball even for a second in this form of the game.
"We're still unbeaten with four points from three games and we move onto the next game against Kent."
