FOREST GREEN goalkeeper Bradley Collins is in the clear following allegations of spitting In his side’s 1-0 defeat against Lincoln.
The 20-year-old, on loan from Chelsea, was accused of spitting at Lincoln defender Sean Raggett by Imps boss Danny Cowley.
A Forest Green statement said: “The FA has found no evidence of any wrongdoing by FGR goalkeeper Brad Collins following allegations of spitting at the conclusion of the match against Lincoln City on Tuesday evening.”
Cowley wanted retrospective action and confirmed his club had sent video evidence to the FA.
Cowley told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: “Their goalkeeper spat at Sean Raggett and we are categorical on that.”
Meanwhile, Forest Green boss Mark Cooper accused Lincoln boss Cowley of attention-seeking after the allegation against Collins.
Cooper said: “I think it’s out of order in using a young lad to hang him out to dry for the sake of a little bit of attention for yourself or your staff. Lincoln players are good at what they do and deserve credit, not the manager and his brother.”
