COTSWOLD Edge Golf Club’s former seniors captains came together last week for the annual Fellowship Trophy and get together.

Graham Bartlett took the honours in the stableford competition with 31 points from Roger Johnson 29 and James Barnes 28.

Kev Morgan and Vince Taylor booked their place in the Daily Mail Foursomes national competition by winning the qualifying winter foursomes stroke play competition with a nett 72 ahead of Richard Beale and Ian Nurding 72.5 and Carl Hendry and Vern Chappell 73.

Kev and Vince will have to wait until next year to find out who they draw in the first round.

Strong winds and driving rain didn’t deter the seniors in their Autumn Texas Scramble which saw John Stuart, John Newns, Phil Hale and Rob Rennicks return a nett score of 47.25 to win.

They took the honours from Bob Lawrence, Roger Johnson, John Morgan and David Millward 49.75. The Ladies Alliance teams played their final matches of the season this week and both teams finished mid-table in their respective divisions, securing their places for next year.
