FRAMPTON United were the biggest scorers of the day in the Gloucestershire Football Association Challenge Trophy round two, hitting seven into the Newent Town net with the home side netting two.
United started well and scored after three minutes a Nathan Dennis cross put away by Manolo Marquez Espada.
Tom Parnells cross on 27 minutes was finished off by Ryan Vincent and two minutes later Parnell hit the bottom corner to make it 3-0.
A penalty for the visitors on 32 minutes Stuart Maule floored in the box but Matt Cook hit his penalty wide.
Newent pulled a goal back on 46 minutes through Daryl Bayliss, but two minutes later, Vincent scored his second.
Frampton’s Manolo Marquez Espada netted his second before Newnt got a second on 62 minutes Bayliss heading home his second. Jonathan Lewis was then brought down for a second penalty to Frampton and Vincent made no mistake from the spot to complete his hat-trick.
Then Manolo completed his hat-trick on 73 minutes to send Frampton into the third round.
