DURSLEY Town Ladies remain rock-bottom of the table after Bristol and West scored the only goal of the game to make it five loses from five games for the hosts in the league this season.
Town arguably had the better of a fairly even first half, but they failed to create a really clear-cut chance and instead conceded a goal against the run of play to trail at the break.
Bristol and West were much-improved following the turnaround, however, and only some last-ditch defending inside the six-yard box prevented the visitors from adding to their total.
The hosts were largely ineffectual in the second half and not even the novelty of a quintuple substitution, possible because of rolling substitutes, could prompt an equaliser.
