FOREST GREEN striker Rhys Murphy has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old joined the club in 2016 on a three-year deal and scored seven goals in 17 appearances before going on loan to York City and Crawley Town.
The former Arsenal youngster joined National League side Torquay United on a three-month loan deal back in September where he has made eight league appearances this term, scoring once in a 4-0 win over Maidenhead.
A club spokesman said: "The club would like to wish Rhys all the best in the future and thank him for his contribution to the team during his time here."
