FOREST GREEN have landed a substantial pay-out following Kieffer Moore’s move from Ipswich Town to Championship side Barnsley.
Rovers implemented a sell-on clause as part of the transfer deal they struck with Ipswich when Moore joined from Forest Green in January 2017.
The SNJ understands the pay-out is close to six figures. However, a spokesman from the club said : "Contractual matters remain confidential."
The 25-year-old joined Rotherham on loan in July and scored 13 goals in 22 League One games and has now sealed a transfer to Barnsley, where he will join his old Forest Green team-mate Ethan Pinnock, on a deal until 2021 for an undisclosed fee.
