ROSS Moriarty has played his last match for Wales as a Gloucester man after being left out completely from their 23 for the Six Nations Championship clash with France on Saturday.

And Gloucester's Owen Williams is again left out of the party, having not appeared once in the Six Nations since being part of the Welsh Autumn Tests squad.

Moriarty is returning to his homeland at the end of the season and, along with hooker Richard Hibbard, will be joining the Dragons region.

Yet, after the big back row played against Scotland, Ireland and England during the current Six Nations, he was left out altogether against Italy as Bath number eight Taulupe Faletau returned in that position.

And, on Saturday, Faletau, who had a brilliant match in the victory over the Italians last Sunday, retains that position.

There is no place on either flank for Moriarty either with Ospreys ace Justin Tipuric and Cardiff Blues back row Josh Navidi occupying those spots. Scarlets flanker Aaron Shingler is the cover for the back row on the replacements bench.

Wales' next match after the French game will be in June when Moriarty will have left Kingsholm for Rodney Parade, Newport.
