BRISTOL Rugby's Pat Lam will coach an all-star Barbarians line-up against an England XV at Twickenham next month.

Lam has just guided Bristol back into the Aviva Premiership after they won the Championship title with two games to spare.

And the Baa-baas have now confirmed his appointment for the non-cap England game on May 27.

"I was blessed to play six times for the Barbarians against England, Wales, Scotland and Australia and it was such an enjoyable experience," Lam said.

"England will be a huge challenge. They've had a bit of a blip this season, but there is no doubt about the quality of the players in their squad and they will be looking for a really tough hit-out.

"We will have to look at who is going to be available but the Barbarians ethos is to bring players together, make sure they get on the same page and to give them the chance to express their talent.

"We will be looking largely to players based in France, and some in the PRO14 and the Premiership. There is certainly plenty of quality out there."
