FOREST GREEN’S Gavin Gunning has revealed he "hated" playing for tomorrow’s opponents Grimsby Town.
A firm Forest Green fans’ favourite, Gunning insists he has no point to prove against his former club.
“I hated it there," admitted Gunning, who played 14 games for Grimsby last season before moving to Port Vale in the summer and then to Rovers in January.
"I wasn’t really fit to be honest and I didn't enjoy it at all. I didn’t feel it was a club that wanted to go anywhere and they were just happy just to be in the league."
