FOLLOWING meetings with boss Mark Cooper, Forest Green have placed Luke James, Fabien Robert and Manny Monthe on the transfer list, with 12 out of contract players released.

Rovers' outs are: Keanu Marsh-Brown, Omar Bugiel, Callum Evans, Alex Whittle, Mark Roberts, Sam Russell, Harry Pickering, Tom Anderson, Jon Moran, Olly Mehew, Cameron Belford and Jordan Morris.

Meanwhile, former midfielder Reece Brown has extended his contract, with the Rovers boss hoping to tempt Isaiah Osbourne into extending his stay, having offered him a deal last week.

Cooper said: "We're pleased to have Reece back for next season and have made Ozzy a good offer which we hope he will accept."

Cooper praised the departing players as he prepares for a second season in League Two.

He added: "Some hard decisions have had to be made this season and some difficult conversations and I would like to thank all those players leaving for what they have given to the football club and wish them the best for the future.

"We did things the right way but football moves on and I believe we have the foundations from which to build on this summer and be more competitive in League Two next season."
