Forest Green Rovers travel to Swindon Town in the opening round of the Carabao Cup
Forest Green Rovers will travel to Swindon Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup, after the draw was made in Vietnam today.
It’s the first competitive fixture of the season to be confirmed for Rovers, who next week will find out their league schedule when dates are published on Thursday, June 21.
Rovers faced Town on three occasions last season, losing both League Two matches 2-0 and 1-0 while wining 1-0 in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The tie will be played during the week commencing August 13.
