SLIMBRIDGE kicked off their pre-season in style by beating Carlsberg South West Peninsula League side Launceston.
Two goals came in an entertaining first half from Craig Cole and Jamie Inch, with the returning Shane Hanson scoring the third.
It could have been four had Tom Cole not missed a second half penalty.
l Slimbridge face 2007/08 champions, Winterbourne United in their first match back in Hellenic Division One West on Wednesday, August 12.
