GLOUCESTERSHIRE have drawn up revised plans for redevelopment in a final attempt to stay at the County Ground in Bristol.
In the new proposals, they have taken out one storey and dropped the penthouse suits from the apartment blocks that will pay for the £10m makeover.
The height of the building was one of the main reasons Bristol City Council rejected the plans in January, and Gloucestershire have considered moving to a new ground, with Filton airfield considered an alternative venue.
However, their preferred option is to remain at Nevil Road and they will hold a consultation exercise with residents in the area before submitting a formal planning application.
Drop-in sessions will be held at the ground between 3pm and 7.30pm next Wednesday and Thursday so people can see and discuss the revised scheme.
