Alex Grocott wins bronze at South West Club and County Cross Country Championships

TOCKINGTON Manor School pupil Alex Grocott came third in the under-11 England Athletics South West Club and County Cross Country Championships at Bicton College in Devon.
This is a notable achievement as Grocott is in Year 5 and has another year in the age group.
He is part of Tockington Manor under-11 boys team, who are currently in a good position to win the Gloucestershire League after three out of four meetings.
The final race is at Plock Court in Gloucester on Saturday, February 2. Grocott and Year 6 pupil Max Curtis are well placed to finish in the top four individual athletes at the end of the season.
