DAN PERNELL netted a tidy hat-trick for Pucklechurch Sports as they went fourth in the Senior Division after their 5-2 triumph over Shirehampton Reserves, with John Wiltshire and Dan Turner completing the scoring.

Wick Reserves held Henbury Reserves to a 3-3 draw with Richard Grinter, Luke Corbiere and Arron Holbrook all netting for the home side and at the bottom of the table Warmley Saints edged Nicholas Wanderers Reserves 3-2 away thanks to a double from Adam O’Brien and a strike from Nick Peters.

Wanderers replied through an own goal and Steve Hambridge but they remain bottom on two points.

An eight-goal thriller between Division One leaders Hambrook and third-placed Bradley Stoke Town ended with both sides taking a point at the final whistle.

In addition to goals from Ryan Brown and Chris Gent it was another two goals from Tom Smyth that secured the draw for home side Hambrook.

Sam Ville and Brendon Perkins scored in Winterbourne United A’s 2-1 win over Chipping Sodbury Town Reserves.

There was a shock in Division Two this week as bottom club Hartcliffe plucked a 3-0 win from the Bristol heavens to secure their first points of the season at the expense of Lloydy Coalpit Heath.

Ben Harper, Chris James and Harry Kennedy all scored as the home side finally got off the mark.

There was no such surprise in Real Thornbury’s game.

Another sweeping performance saw them slot eight past Chipping Sodbury Town A as, in addition to strikes from Mike Barton and Joe Holeburt, Mo Senouvri, Tom Miller and Adam Broughton all scored twice.

Thornbury’s goal difference moves to a staggering plus-68 after 11 games.

Two goals from Dan Cook weren’t enough for even a point as James West, Jamie Price and Rob Underwood netted for Bendix against Frampton Athletic Reserves to consolidate the former’s second place position.

In Division Three Hillfields Old Boys succumbed to a 5-4 loss at home against Hallen B as the away side move into fourth at the home side’s disappointed expense.

Despite goals from Chris Hull, Stefan Kelly, Mitch Wise and Kyle Thomas it was Hallen who inched all three points.

An own goal and an Ashley Bruno strike saw Patchway North End stay top after beating Bristol Barcelona Reserves 2-0.

Two goals from Mike Tucker and one apiece for Chris Wlliams and Josh Weeks saw Made For Ever Reserves move off the bottom of the table with a 4-1 win over Pucklechurch Sports Reserves and Richard Gardener and Gary Knowlson scored as Yate Athletic struggled past new bottom team Roman Glass St George A in a 2-1 away win. Steve Bradford scored the home side’s consolation. Playing away from home against Westerleigh Sports, who were top of Division Four at the start of the day, Lawrence Rovers Reserves found seven goals to register only their second win of the season in a 7-5 win.

Luke Basseng’s impressive run of form continued as he replied with a hat-trick but it wasn’t enough for Westerleigh, as Lawrence Rovers move a slightly more comfortable 12th.

In Division Five, an Aaron Turner hat-trick was the highlight of the day as Iron Acton A beat Highridge United A 4-1.

Robbie Nicholls completed the scoring the home team whilst Jorden Edwards struck for Highridge.

In Division Six, Yate Athletic Reserves’ 5-2 win over Cribbs B was largely in thanks to Ashley Darnley’s three goals.
