Bristol Saturday Youth League Plate Semi-Final U15s

Bishopston United B 0 Thornbury Town 3

THORNBURY Town under-14s showed that they can cope playing against under-15 teams as they beat Bishopston to reach the cup final.

Thornbury's dominance forced a corner and Tom Constable was first to the ball to head back across goal and into the net to give the visitors a deserved lead.

The visitors then doubled their lead when Henry Ogilvie used his pace to get past the home defence and hit a powerful shot that the home keeper failed to hold onto and, as the ball rolled towards goal, his on rushing brother Louis Ogilvie made sure that it crossed the line.

Thornbury were rewarded with a third goal when the impressive Jacob Harper cut inside and unleashed a shot from outside the box that the home keeper could only punch into his own net.
