BUDDING coaches, players and volunteers enthusiastically involved in female football are being invited to attend an exciting seminar next week.

Bristol Academy WFC have teamed up with the Gloucestershire FA to host the three-hour session, which will take place at the home of the ambitious Women’s Super League team at WISE Campus, Stoke Gifford, on Wednesday, April 9, kicking-off at 6.45pm.

The evening will consist of workshops followed by the opportunity to observe a Bristol Academy first team training session ahead of the new FA WSL season. Attendees will also be given the chance to speak with the side’s newly-appointed first team manager Dave Edmondson, as well as Vixens captain Corinne Yorston, who will deliver a workshop about strength and conditioning.

The free seminar is aimed at supporting coaches, players and volunteers performing at any level of the female grassroots game in the county.

During the evening the Academy’s Centre of Excellence will be training, offering an opportunity for grassroots coaches to gain an insight into the coaching and practices delivered to players within the Centre of Excellence programme.
