DAVID Payne will be on a hat-trick when play resumes in Gloucestershire’s LV County Championship clash against Glamorgan on a hat-trick.
The left-arm seamer (3-14) removed Murray Goodwin and Mark Wallace with successive balls on day one to reduce the hosts to 47-6 at the Swalec Stadium before rain brought play to a premature end.
Will Gidman also took two wickets, the first of which came from the first ball of the match when Gareth Rees was caught behind by Cameron Herring, while Matthew Taylor has one dismissal to his name.
