Almondsbury (201) lost to Bradley Stoke (256) by 55 runs
ALMONDSBURY'S lead at the top of the table was cut to 12 points on Saturday when they lost to local rivals Bradley Stoke.
The visitors batted first and amassed 256 in their allotted overs with Stephen Davies (62) and Bhushan Mankar (82) plundering the Almondsbury attack.
Aaron Jones (3-62), Mike Frolich (2-60) and Stephen Braund (2-41) were the principle Almondsbury wicket takers.
Almondsbury were never really in the hunt as only Deepak Bhadri, with a swashbuckling 51, showed any signs of chasing down the Bradley Stoke total.
Wayne Passmore (3-36), Nathan Bowen (2-60), Sam Wentland (2-25) and Mark Baber (2-24) did the damage for the visiting side.
