An under-strength Thornbury second team started their Division Two game at BAC seconds with just eight players and, despite being at a numerical disadvantage, gave a committed performance to go down 3-1.

The Thornbury goal was a well taken one by the enthusiastic Rachel Underwood.

Thornbury face a tough encounter on Saturday when they entertain the young Clifton fourths side at Castle School, 12.30pm.

A very young Thornbury thirds side were forced to play without a keeper against Bristol and suffered a heavy 12-0 defeat in Division Three.
