Bristol Premier Combination Cup

Roman Glass St George Res 4 Olveston United 2

OLVESTON were well on top in this game and took an early lead through Matt Knight.

However, bad defending allowed the home side to score three quick goals before the interval to make the half time score 3-1.

Olveston pulled a goal back in the second half when Craig Thompson, on his return from injury, scored with a volley from the edge of the penalty area and then they thought they had equalised when Ben Farrell scored from close range only to see his goal disallowed for offside.

The visitors continued to press but Roman Glass took the honours when they scored late in the game to make the final score 4-2.

Slack defending cost Olveston dearly in this entertaining cup match.
